New Year, New Challenge
Happy New Years everyone!
Like a lot of you, in 2017 I want to focus my attention on what really matters and to me, that means leading a less-hectic, simplified, and closer-to-God lifestyle. I'm not one for resolutions - I actually detest the whole idea of them, but I do like challenges. My most recent challenge (1950's Housewife Schedule) was really fun, but I've learned a lot since starting it so I figure, new year, new challenge!
This new challenge is made up of many different parts because to me, being a housewife is more than just cleaning dishes and washing the laundry. I really wanted to take my time to breakdown different aspects of what it means to be a 50s housewife, so over the next few weeks, that's what I'll be sharing. Each week I'll add onto the existing challenge and update how my household, my blood pressure (stress and an untidy homes do terrible things to our health!), and my overall outlook of life changes.
This week, as in keeping with the original Housewife Challenge, will focus on keeping a tidy house June Cleaver would be proud of! More on that in my next post! ;)
God bless, lovelies!
